Artezia
In cooperation with mySCADA, Artezia developed and implemented a modern, efficient system for steam supply and condensate drainage in the drying section of their papermaking machine — the most important element of the entire production facility. The solution delivers comprehensive operator visibility, centralized control, and analytics down to individual cylinder level.
The drying section of a papermaking machine is the most critical and energy-intensive part of the entire facility. Artezia required a modern control system capable of managing the complex steam supply and condensate drainage process with full operator visibility, centralized setpoint management across multiple operational modes, and detailed analytics — including steam consumption tracking at the individual cylinder level.
mySCADA delivered a complete visualization and control platform for the drying section. The system features an interactive process overview scheme of the complete technological process, a general setpoint settings page covering all operational modes in one place, structured fine-tuning pages for detailed parameter adjustment, active alarm and event monitoring, real-time parameter trend visualization, and dynamic analytics of steam consumption changes per cylinder. Operators have multiple ways to access the information they need for their specific role.
- Interactive process overview providing complete visibility of the drying section's technological process
- Centralized setpoint management for all operational modes from a single interface
- Structured fine-tuning pages enabling precise control of all process parameters
- Real-time alarm and event monitoring with full historical logging
- Steam consumption analytics down to individual cylinder level enabling targeted efficiency improvements
- Multiple visualization views allowing each operator to access the most relevant information
