myPRO is the runtime engine that executes your SCADA project — monitoring, alarms, trends, OEE. myPRO Manager is a companion tool for licensing, deployment management, and switching between runtime versions.

Log in at www.myscada.org/my-account and navigate to the Licensing section. From there you can view, activate, and transfer licenses.

Yes. Download versions are available from the Downloads section. You can test all features without a license. After extended continuous use the runtime requires a restart — there is no time limit on evaluation.

Characters in the range 0–255 (U+0000 to U+00FF) are supported. Characters above U+00FF are not currently supported in display labels and tag names.

Use the view destroy() callback to cancel the interval: clearInterval(this.time_interval). Without this the timer continues running in the background indefinitely after the view is unloaded.

Currently myPRO Manager requires Windows 11. Older Windows versions are not officially supported for the Manager tool, although the myPRO runtime itself can run on Windows Server 2022 and other platforms.

Native SMS notifications are not built in — only SMTP email notifications are supported out of the box. SMS can be integrated via custom server-side scripting in myDESIGNER Enterprise.

myPRO Manager has been tested on Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint. Other distributions may work but are not officially guaranteed.

Yes, license transfer is available for emergency situations (e.g. hardware failure). Open myPRO Manager, go to the Licensing tab and use the Transfer option. Transfers are tracked and limited.

Any Chromium-based browser is supported. Google Chrome is recommended for the best experience. No plugin or client software installation is needed — operators connect via standard web browser.

Active Areas require protocol consistency. If your myPRO server is accessed via HTTPS, all active area sources must also use HTTPS. Mixing HTTP and HTTPS causes browser security blocks.

MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, ODBC and Microsoft SQL Server are all natively supported for data logging and historical trending on Windows deployments.

Both are unlimited. There is no cap on the number of tags in a project or on simultaneous client browser connections. Practical limits depend only on server hardware.

The standard version of myDESIGNER is free and will remain free. A myDESIGNER Enterprise version with advanced features is available for purchase — see the comparison on our website.

Enterprise adds server-side scripting (Node.js), Gantt charts, 3D visualization, box plot statistics, timeline views, alarm statistics, hierarchical tag management and recipe management. Projects deploy directly to myPRO, myBOX IPC or myPANEL.

The current version is Windows-only. Legacy versions for Linux (extract .tar.gz, run binary from /bin folder) and macOS (standard .dmg installer) are archived at nsa.myscada.org.

Right-click the project name in the project list, select Export, and choose a destination folder. The entire project is saved as a single .mep file.

No. Server-side scripting (running custom Node.js code on the SCADA server) is available only in myDESIGNER Enterprise.

Install myDESIGNER, click the yellow key icon in the toolbar to open licensing, note your Hardware ID, log in to your account online, enter the HW-ID to generate a license file, download it and apply it in the licensing dialog, then restart the application.

No. myDESIGNER Enterprise supports unlimited simultaneous connections, unlimited views per project and unlimited projects.

Native database connections are not available on myBOX IPC due to hardware and software limitations. Custom data forwarding to external databases is possible via server-side scripting in myDESIGNER Enterprise using custom TCP/HTTP protocols.

All myBOX IPC versions include an unlimited tag license locked to the device. The practical limit depends on hardware performance — the quad-core ARM CPU handles thousands of tag updates per second.

myBOX IPC includes 2× Ethernet (1 Gbps + 100 Mbps), dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth, 4G LTE with GPS/GLONASS, 2× RS485, 2× RS232 (all galvanically isolated), and 2× USB 2.0.

myBOX IPC includes a supercapacitor power-failure protection system that allows the device to safely write data and shut down gracefully on power loss, preventing data corruption.

No. myPANEL includes an unlimited tag license. The license is device-locked and non-transferable.

Yes. Enter the myPANEL IP address in any web browser on the same local network to access the HMI. For remote internet access, combine myPANEL with myACCESS.

Use myPANEL8.sh for devices with ARM CPUs. Use myPANEL8_x64.sh for devices with Intel CPUs. Check the label on the back of your device for the processor type.

myPANEL itself does not have a built-in LTE modem. For cellular connectivity, pair it with myBOX IPC (which has integrated 4G LTE) or use myACCESS for secure cloud-based remote access.

Native SMS is not supported. For bulk order customization with SMS hardware, contact our sales team. Email (SMTP) notifications work out of the box.

No, GPIO is not supported on myPANEL. For digital I/O integration, connect PLCs or I/O modules via the supported communication protocols (Modbus, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, etc.).

myPANEL is available in 7″, 10″, 11″, 13″ and 15″ TFT LCD displays, with resolutions ranging from 1024×600 px (7″) up to 1920×1080 px (15″).

Native drivers: Siemens S7 (S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, S7-1500), EtherNet/IP (Allen-Bradley, Omron), Modbus TCP and Modbus Serial, OPC UA, Melsec Binary, Toyopuc and KNX. Additional protocols can be integrated via server-side scripting.

No. mySCADA supports OPC UA only. OPC DA support is not planned.

Select the Allen-Bradley (EtherNet/IP) driver when adding a PLC connection — it is fully compatible with Omron PLCs that support the EtherNet/IP protocol.

There is no native MQTT driver yet. MQTT can be implemented via the embedded Node.js server-side scripting in myDESIGNER Enterprise. Native MQTT support is on the roadmap for a future release.

There are known compatibility issues with specific firmware versions: v4.1 on S7-1200 and v1.7 on S7-1500. Try upgrading or downgrading the PLC firmware to a different version. Also verify that PUT/GET access is enabled in the PLC's protection settings.

Currently only IP addresses are supported. Dynamic DNS (DynDNS) hostname support is planned for a future release.

Yes. The S7 native driver supports S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200 and S7-1500 series PLCs.

No. myACCESS works behind NAT — no public IP, no port forwarding, no firewall rules required. Devices connect outbound to the myACCESS infrastructure and you access them through an encrypted tunnel.

Yes. iOS and Android apps are available for remote monitoring and control of all connected devices from a smartphone.

myACCESS is subscription-based — available per device or per user on monthly or yearly plans. Contact sales for volume pricing.

Yes. myACCESS provides a full encrypted tunnel to the PLC network, allowing programming software (TIA Portal, Studio 5000, etc.) to connect as if on the local network.

Not officially. As a workaround, set the environment variable NODE_SKIP_PLATFORM_CHECK=1 before launching. This is unsupported and not recommended for production.

The systray icon was removed in newer versions and replaced by the myPRO built-in web settings interface, accessible remotely via browser.

Tag upgrades (up to 5,000 tags) can be purchased directly in the e-shop. For larger tag counts or version upgrade pricing, contact our sales team.

When installing MySQL Server, ensure you select the "Legacy Authentication Method" option. Modern authentication methods are not compatible with the myPRO database connector.

No. myMOBILE development was discontinued in December 2017 and the app is no longer available in app stores. Use the responsive web interface instead — it works in any mobile browser.

No. mySMART HOUSE is no longer available. The last functional version was v7.0.44. For home automation use cases, myPRO with a compatible KNX or Modbus gateway is recommended.
