Vibracoustic, a manufacturer of car components, sought to modernize its production hall with a visualization system that would provide a comprehensive overview of production and help decrease costs to remain competitive in the automotive sector. mySCADA was selected as the most suitable solution, offering visualization software embedded directly in operator panels.
The need for modernization arose primarily from two requirements: the company needed an online system capable of logging production data in both tabular and graphical form, and a platform that could provide real-time production overviews for each component across the manufacturing line. Remaining competitive in the automotive sector demanded measurable cost reductions through improved monitoring.
mySCADA visualization software was deployed on operator panels throughout the production facility. The system provides full production overviews for each component, real-time data logging in both graphical and tabular form, production reports for configurable time periods, recipe setting and management for individual components, a comprehensive alarm system, and a main overview dashboard for production management.
