ŠKO-ENERGO, established in 1995, is an energy supplier and service provider supplying raw water treatment and waste liquidation for ŠKODA AUTO, while distributing heat to over 12,000 homes and 200+ business entities in Mladá Boleslav. In 2013, they modernized their Bradlec water treatment facility with mySCADA Box 3G — one device addressing all requirements.
ŠKO-ENERGO needed a secure, flexible SCADA system for their Bradlec water treatment facility with advanced vector graphic visualization, remote monitoring and data access, comprehensive trend analysis and reporting, and full alarm management. The solution had to operate on both fixed operator workstations and mobile iPads used as field panels — without requiring separate systems for each use case.
A Siemens S7 1200 controller was paired with mySCADA Box 3G as the SCADA solution. Visualizations were created in mySCADA Editor and deployed to the Box, providing operators with comprehensive operational views. Remote web-browser access connects operator PCs, while iPads run native mySCADA applications that interface directly with the S7 1200 for mobile field use. The mySCADA Box 3G addressed all requirements — from on-site operator display to remote mobile monitoring — within a single device. The integrated solution enables efficient data processing and retrieval across both mobile and stationary platforms.
