Saint-Gobain Weber, part of the global Saint-Gobain group and a leading manufacturer of dry construction mixtures — mortars, renders, adhesives and grouts — implemented mySCADA to automate and monitor their production line. The system covers the full process from raw material mixing through to bagging, providing centralized oversight and data logging across production operations.
The mixing and bagging production line required real-time monitoring and control across multiple process stages. Without a centralized supervisory layer, production staff lacked visibility into process parameters, making it difficult to identify inefficiencies, detect equipment faults early, or maintain consistent product quality across high-volume batching operations.
mySCADA was deployed as the supervisory control and data acquisition layer for the entire mixing and bagging production line. The system collects real-time data from PLCs controlling individual process stages, provides operator dashboards for continuous process oversight, manages alarms for out-of-range parameters, and stores historical production data for trend analysis and quality reporting.
