Powerplant Ledvice is a 640 MW power plant constructed between 1966 and 1969. The service building's existing SCADA system experienced unexpected failures, requiring immediate replacement. mySCADA Box was deployed alongside the existing control infrastructure, with iPads replacing fixed HMI panels and 24/7 remote access via 3G/4G enabling continuous air-conditioning management.
The facility experienced unexpected failures in the existing SCADA system. Staff needed a device that could monitor the service building's air-conditioning system with modern visualization and advanced diagnostics — while integrating with the existing control infrastructure already in place. A replacement needed to be quick to deploy, reliable, and capable of mobile operation for maintenance personnel working throughout the facility.
mySCADA Box was integrated alongside the existing control system. Custom visualizations were created in mySCADA Editor and deployed to both the Box hardware and iPad devices configured as mobile operator panels. The iPads provide field personnel with full operational visibility and control capability anywhere in the facility. 3G/4G connectivity enables 24/7 remote management from any location, giving management and on-call personnel immediate access to system status without requiring physical presence at the plant.
