The Challenge
The facility operated 72 double-stack cold rooms plus 9 additional chambers, each the equivalent of approximately 40 double-stack tunnels. All were controlled by Danfoss controllers integrated with a proprietary monitoring system that had become obsolete and was no longer supported by the vendor.
Replacing the underlying Danfoss hardware wasn’t an option — the cost and disruption would have been prohibitive. The customer needed a modern control and monitoring layer that could interface with what was already installed.
The Solution
mySCADA’s extensive communication interface options made it straightforward to integrate with the existing Danfoss controllers. The platform took over control and monitoring of all chambers, providing:
